Blueberry Banana Bread


Because a trip to Idaho included stopping to see my mother-in-law, Nanette, and because she served this amazing bread, I had to get the recipe and share it. Because delicious.

Blueberry Banana Bread

Preheat oven to 350* F

Coat three mini-loaf pans with non-stick spray (or grease and dust with flour) set aside.


1 3/4 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder                           

1/8 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. Salt

(Mix dry ingredients together in a small bowl, set aside.)

1 cube butter  (room temp.)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup blueberries  (dredge in flour)

1/4 cup buttermilk
Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients– stir just enough to blend. Divide batter dough evenly between the three loaf pans. Bake for 35 — 40 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pans.
